The sixth installment of Wildflower’s Advancing Care video series features Trina Jellison, Vice President for the Women and Children’s Institute at Providence. In this video, Trina discusses the challenge of supporting OB practices in the transition to value-based care, understanding that most organizations are working with multiple payers who are likely moving at different speeds. She believes OBs will strongly prefer value-based models once they gain experience. 

“Once providers gain more experience in value-based care, you are going to see them moving quickly to determine how they can more actively engage with payers who give them financial permission to take care of patients in the way they really want to, including individualized support and deeper relationships.”
